ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Celeste Ann Badr is a storyteller, creator, and lifelong dreamer who believes in the magic of everyday wonder. After years of leading nonprofit work, she now spends her days creating whimsical tales and cozy creations that inspire children (and the young at heart) to see the world with imagination and joy.

Her projects include Little Light & Thread LLC, a creative venture she shares with her daughter Emily, where storybooks, journals, and handmade treasures come together to spark curiosity and comfort. At the heart of her children’s stories is Chico, the Tiny Dog, her real-life YorkiPoo who has been her loyal companion for nearly 15 years and the inspiration behind many of her adventures.

When she’s not writing or illustrating, Celeste can be found sketching in her journal, wandering nature trails, or reading with a cup of tea. She believes creativity is a gentle thread that connects us all—and through her stories, she hopes to weave light, laughter, and love into the lives of her readers.
